Well, since my last run on Tuesday night I've been sick as a dog! I felt a lot better this morning and figured I could push through this Dickens of a Run. I thought wrong I started out strong leading for the first part of the race, which changed after a 1/2 mile or so. All of a sudden I felt like I was burning up, but somehow I pulled through and made it to the end. My pace was slower than my last training run and that's when I started to get sick. Even if I was up to par I doubt I would've beaten the winner who was bellow 19 minutes. So no matter what, eventually I was destined to be passed. Next years goal for 5k's is going to be sub-19 and so on...then that guy won't be passing me! For now, I'm just lying in bed sweatin' it out...I feel worse than ever! It's bad; I can't even play Modern Warfare 2. What a Dickens of a Run, Chris Activity
