Although, this was no typical Sunday run, unless you consider running 4 miles on a beach easy? I like to think of a Sunday run as heading out for a long run at an easy 8mm (the calves are not supposed to burn up on a Sunday run). Allow me to explain; the roads are packed with a frozen/slush mix. It was a dog fight just to maintain a 8mm. Sure, I could have found some clean pavement (at times) to run on, but with YakTrax, I look for snow as I don't want to wreck them. Today's conditions reminded me of running in sand, which I think is a hell of a work out and definitely not a run on the beach! Although, it really wasn't that cold today; I was surprised to see another runner. Looked like a hot blond running with a dog. At first I thought she was chasing the dog then I realized she was just another crazy runner. 2nd part of tonight's run as I stopped for food and drinks. Hope the polar bears are OK, Chris Activity
