This run would've been a quick 'n easy 3-miler; however, I decided to throw this hill at myself. If you look at the elevation chart below, at about 3/4 of a mile I ascended up the hill. Then at almost exactly 1-mile I made my descent and it seems a TON steeper running down! Before I knew it, I was zig-zagging down the hill like a skier! When I made it down, I stretched my legs out by running a few extra feet and then doubled back up to the top! On a normal run this hill doesn't break me, but after back-to-back 10-milers, the legs were burning! If you look at the mile splits you'll see this hill really slowed up my 2nd mile. Hell of a day for a run, at 38° who can complain? Gotta run, Chris P.S. The elevation change is 50' for this hill; trust me it's much longer than 50'! Activity
